Christine Hayman
Christine Hayman‘s academic pursuits include a BA in Art History from the University of Maryland and a second degree in Art from the University of Reno, Nevada, where she first began her foray into painting.
Christine Hayman’s artwork explores the interaction of forms within space. She is particularly fascinated by how space energizes these forms when they are set against vibrant colors and rich textures on canvas. Nature is a major inspiration for her, driving her ongoing exploration process.
Initially trained as a classical pianist, Hayman’s artistic journey was shaped by her early involvement in theater and dance at the Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati and Baltimore. However, her passion eventually gravitated towards visual art.
Currently, she calls Northern California home, residing on a farm surrounded by livestock and scenic beauty that profoundly informs her creative endeavors.
